They look fucking great! Love the blue ones too.

You will see photos of these gobos on legendary future albums 🤩

I commented on your Gobos in an earlier video not too long ago. I ended up taking screen shots to analyze how they were made, and considered making a few with a friend who wields.  I even had a few questions I was going to start dropping in your comments. This video was a goldmine for my own continued research on your own design. 😁Thanks for this detailed video!...and keep up the great content! 🍻👍

Just an idea: maybe round off one bottom corner - so a cable can fit through a wall of these gobbos.

Amazing job! I really like to see this in this day and age when people can make an album without even getting off their arse. That's no fun at all.

89.5 degree bevel on all 4 sides edges of plywood... insert the narrower side into your frame to get the right amount of wiggle room. Do not just cut 1mm or 2mm off or you will chase your tail with to big to small fits. What we do in carpentry.

I've already watched this video from start to finish twice, and here I am again about to watch a third time.  So, generally,  I'm impressed by 1) your personal vibe, which seems so great for an engineer/producer/musician/collaborator role, business owner, too, for that matter   2)  Your imagination 3) Your engineering chops (not just audio, I might add), 4) your space & how it became what it is today 5) your environs 6) your acoustic sensibilities...   BUT these panels, I am straight up ENVIOUS over them.  They are so awesome in design, construction and aesthetics, and when they roll over that gorgeous tile floor ... ahhhh.  Studio geek nirvana.  Want a little isolation hutch?  Oh, let me just be James Bond, licensed to track, and suavely roll this over with one hand...

Spectacular video. Your thought process on these was unbelievably cool. I’m so grateful that you filmed all of the different aspects of building them . You have raised the bar quite high

I've worked in many studios and those gobos look very professional.

Love that fabric. If that stuff was shades of brown it would totally remind me of being a kid in the 80's and early 90's.

Wow the legs are such a good idea! Fun watch :) thanks!

I really enjoyed watching the whole process of how you made those gobos — it was truly inspiring!

Tell me that Austin Powers is having trouble controlling the volume of his voice without telling me Austin Powers is having trouble controlling the volume of his voice.

Absolute goldmine of information here! Thank you and best wishes with the new space!

This had been one of my favorite episodes! These look amazing!

No questions just admiration for the gobos. Would love to hear what different drums sound like using them!

WOW! The big job is done! Thank you for sharing. I'm considering renting space for my first recording studio, and since I'm not sure how long I'll stay, GOBOs are a great solution to isolate parts of the band! Amazing! Ingenious wheel bases to go under another one!

All I can say is -WOW those really look good! Another job well done in a long, long list of things to do!

This video is soooo cool. Thanks man!

Now I only need a woodworking workshop, several saws, a grinder, a staple gun, a welder, loads of materials and a lot of skills I don't have and I can make 10 of these for under € 1k!
