my dad changed his wallet a few times but when he died in 2021 we found an old picture in it he'd been keeping of his 3 kids since 1976

A lot of these photos show exactly why micro-plastics are so prevalent in the environment 😢

in contrast , how things don't change , i saw the pixies in scarborough futurist theatre in 1991 and when i saw them again at leeds fest in 2005 they played almost the same setlist , my friends mother joked  "yeah i saw the rolling stones in 1964 and when i saw them again in 2004 they hadn't got any better nor older really"

when you look at things like the knee pads and think "all that wear and tear could have been happening to my knees" it's scary

we are all just boiling frogs at the end of the day  :)

Oh hey Mr. with the nice father oh my goodness, young man I’m glad you got to see that that man loves you. He’s a real daddy.🎉

And think about some things:
Where does all the wear go? The little missing plastic pieces? The rubbed off paint and metal of a door handle?
How does some debris lay in the dirt for decades and still is not fully gone?
What does UV light do to some stuff?
