I bought a 36-year-old cabin near the mountains of Nasu, Japan.

I'm renovating it by myself on weekends, tackling everything from a rotten wooden deck and uneven floors to ants and mold.

I'm still a DIY beginner, so there will be plenty of mistakes along the way. Please enjoy the journey and always use your own judgment when trying DIY projects.

I hope these videos inspire someone to give DIY a try — and I'm simply happy to have you watching!

In Episode #05, I finally start painting the exterior, applying the primer and intermediate coats.

Please stay safe when working at height and always use proper safety equipment.
