Sadly they are all gone but thanks to video we can still enjoy their music

The original Ventures, Bob B. Don W. Nokie E.and the ever hard hitting drummer Mel T. May you all rest in peace.  You may have gone but your memories and music stay.

I was 2 yrs old when the Ventures got started, so I grew up with them as guitar gods.  I’m so thankful we have them on video & audio, the Greatest Instrumental group ever.  May the Lord Bless Mel Taylor, Bob Bogle,Nokie Edwards, & Don Wilson. The originals, and later on Gerry McGee.  Thanks to Mel’s son Leon & Bob Spaulding for keeping the sound alive 🇺🇸❤️

Thank God someone had the sense to film this! There has never been a band like The Ventures. They're from the 60's and sounded like no one else at the time and their music was played well into the 80's on the radio. Now it's like they never existed. This is why youtube was invented! Gen Z, pay attention! THESE ARE ARTISTS.

Nickie Edwards was simply amazing. He inspired so many youngsters like me to try our hand at the guitar. Too bad he never got the recognition he deserved.

The smile of satisfaction and fun when these guys gaze out into the audience is priceless.

Hearing Walk Don’t Run, as a 10 year old kid started me on the wonderful road of playing guitar and meeting some of my closest and dearest friends. Here it is sixty-five years later.  Still love The Ventures.

The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame was created for musicians of this caliber & it's a shame it's become a joke because it was not meant to be . I was lucky as hell to have seen The Ventures  with Nokie in the 70s & they were the reason we need the hall to chuck out the schmucks that don't belong there & there are so many that need to be in the trash heap. These guys were legends & will always be.  So many of us that play owe them so much .

Clapton, Hendricks?  Give me Tommy Emmanuel and Nokie Edwards of The Ventures. Bob Bogel on bass guitar is simply great.

I remember numerous bands in Atlanta in the early sixties confidently playing many of The Ventures hits that is until they started getting requests to perform ' Slaughter on Tenth Avenue ' !😂🙏🫴😤

Ventures Number One 1.   The Shadows 2.  Both are my favorites, Ventures will never go out of style.   Solo nos queda recordar con sus Videos Saludos desde Culiacán Mex🎉❤.    P.S..    By the way, Nokie, whom I admire as the best guitarist of his time. It was a great success that he went from the bass instrument to the guitar.

I was born in 80 and this was def my parents music. Even through the 90s and all the retro stuff over the years, I never came around to it. But for some reason today at 43 years old I just decided to do a ventures dive and man, it is impossible to not feel happy while listening to these guys.

I'm also a guitar player and maybe I'm just coming around to more of the cleaner tone stuff (definitely a metal and hard rock guy), but purely from a guitar standpoint, this is as classic as guitar tone gets.

Never tire of listening to the ventures. Some of the best musicians of all time.

I feel strongly that director Tarantino deserves a nod of credit for ushering new gens of kids towards this genre with the global popularity and cultural influence that Pulp Fiction had ....i have a senior friend named Mick who absolutly goes bananas for the Ventures i enjoi listening w him on the giant Mac monitor
ong live the Ventures and Mick

I could never find Ventures DVDs in the states. I did find them in Busan, South Korea.  They were the best. Rest in Peace  guys.

what an amazing concert, was my Dad's favorite band, especially for testing his DIY speaker designs back in the 60s 🙂
