This sounds like what they use to make all the ring tones on phones...

my dad just bought me a mandolin out of nowhere and i’m so excited OMG HAHAHAH

please make a video on how to learn number 2. losing my religion

The mandolin is a great instrument.  Whenever I tell folks I play the mando they assume it's bluegrass.  Fact is I play very little bluegrass music.  I can play along with just about anything that's going.

Kinda sad Battle of Evermore was left out but nice list,

Need more Zeppelin on this list! "The Battle Of Evermore" and "Going To California" are both spectacular mandolin tunes.

I wouldn't get one but mandolins sound way better than ukuleles

You can play almost anything on almost any instrument. I play a flute, which is an instrument that can't play multiple notes at the same time, but I play Metallica, Black Sabbath, and Night on Bald Mountain on it like every day. You can figure it out if you try.

Nice, thanks.  In addition all the Irish Traditional jigs, reels, hornpipes, etc. are very well suited to mandolin.

Led Zeppelin has some great ones as well.
Battle of Evermore, Tangerine, That's the Way, and Gallows Pole are great examples.

You forgot Rise by Eddie Vedder and Battle of Evermore by Led Zeppelin.

how could someone not love this instrument

I would love to have your tab for your version of poor wayfairing stranger that was beautiful

Seeing Stonehenge on here killed me. That was one of the first songs I learned when I got my mandolin too 😂

Pretty good.
I've been playing with Japanese folk music. Plenty of music out there to play with.

Given the roots of the mandolin I would imagine there are way more mandolin tunes that aren't bluegrass than are! Great job. I would add Heart's Silvan Song/Dream of the Archer as a favourite.

Ocean man, take me by the hand, lead me to the land

I just got a new mandolin! This is so encouraging and motivating! I wanna be this good 💙

Mandolins, Flutes, and Harps. So pretty.

I'm seriously glad someone knows Blue Rondo A La Turk :)
