We're so back

23:33 I still completely believe that a big reason for the name was because "Control" is impossible to effectively search for whereas "Resonent" is an extremely uncommon term that will stand out and be easy to search for and remember

Also, if I understand correctly, the joke of the Mario meme isn't,  "coms dialog bad," it was putting that kind of bloated chatter over top of a game that didn't need it. Something like Control: Resonant can leverage coms dialog better and I doubt it's going to be as quippy as that meme parody example.

I'm happy to hear that you went to the preview event!

I am just so stinking excited for this game

I've never been more excited for an episode of Yeah I've played

Wow, you're going places! Cool to see Remedy inviting you both :D
I'm suuuper looking forward to the game, and the preview looks and sounds promising. I prefer melee combat in general, and I'm interested to see how the RPG systems will evolve. It seems very in-depth, possibly allowing multiple runs with vastly different play styles!

Also, I don't think the "failure" of Firebreak will in any way make Control Resonant a weaker game. Both are very different games :)

You seriously touch on everything I care about in every remedy game review. Every time I start to ask a question in my head you answer it. It’s hard to find for me personally. You rock!!

Feels kind of like prototype just way more advanced . I’m so fucking excited for this .

Definitely furthering my curiosity and hype for this game, enjoyed the preview and debrief with Jordan! I am also very interested in how they'll be presenting the sector to sector traversal, whether the Oceanview could show up, not to mention what kind of storytelling devices there will be just within the game world whether that's documents, tapes etc. - AHHHH! I hope I'll even be able to play this on my hardware!

A lot of good explanations here! Clears things up a lot. I can't wait to get into the more finer details of the game.

11:31 Knowing that resonants are former people mutated by a pattern, it would be so interesting if Dr Darling is a resonant :p

Thank you for this, I'm a big fan of Remedy.

It's nice to be updated 😁👌

The astral plane is stark white and black. It's dark in the gap... Like with the former. I'm sticking to my guess that Jesse turns herself into a former like entity and the aberrant is her oop.

not me thinking "this reminds of prototype" haha!

also, while you guys were deeply undercover in remedy , its still so cool to hear  you guys are being invited  and included on these events  as  an old sub. congrats and keep it up!

ALSO MATT awsome to hear about your gaame!

Thank you for your report! This is my most anticipated game since Breath of the Wild and Alan Wake 2.

You had me at customizable poncho

i needed to find this as bad as i needed this sequel thank you

38:50 I feel like Remedy is still trying to pull themselves into the mainstream line of money. they are making award winning games but not getting the money they deserve. like what you said here.
