Phil Hartman is one of the greatest SNL cast members of all time.

"Hey I cant see too well over there is that Ben Matlock?" lmao

2:04 “Next morning you find it filled to the brim with JACK SQUAT!!!!”

Whoever disliked this is getting JACK SQUAT for Christmas.

"I wish you could be Santa's little helper and shut your cake hole!"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

"'twas the night before Christmas
and all through the van
Your old  buddy Matt
fell asleep on the can.
His children amiss,
two time zones away
with his first wife and her husband
in sunny LA.
Matt woke up and realized
with a chill and a quiver
that he was living
in a van down by the river."

I am thirty five years old, I am thrice divorced and I live at the North pole IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!! 😂😂😂

I'm not really sure what's more priceless; The skit itself or the fact that Chris Farley got to yell "Shut your cakehole!" to multiple Oscar-winning actress Sally Field

A van down by the river sounds pretty sweet

RIP 🪦 Chris Farley and Phil Hartman 🪦gone way way to soon. 😢🎄

if they had made a movie based off this character it would have been a huge hit. such a shame tho Chris Farley left this world way too soon.

Part of Farley's genius is that as out of breath as he was cuz he was out of shape, obviously, he knew how to use it to his comedic advantage. To me that's a huge talent and a testament as to his greatness. Rest in peace, man. You sure as hell are missed.

This skit hasn't aged at all. It's just as funny today.

In the real world....your stocking is filled with JACK SQUAT!!!

Man Phil Hartman and Chris Farley. Two of the funniest people ever both of “WHOSE” lives ended too soon. ☹️ Rest In Peace both of you

i bet he is in heaven in a van down by the river jordan

I friggin lose it at
"A RUM BA BUM BUMP!"

Fun fact: Bob Odenkirk wrote this character with Chris Farley in mind. He said no one else could bring the character to life the way Chris could. Bob used to do improv with Chris at
Second city in Chicago.

Hartman was so believable at being a stiff suit

Very funny sketch!  R.I.P. Phil Hartman and Chris Farley.
