the easiest way to fix it is if during the ceremony, michael just all of the sudden starts killing everyone in the cult. the cult leader goes "WHAT IS HE DOING?! STOP HIM!" but michael just takes them all out.

This is an interesting concept: "Salvaging: [Title of Movie/Series]" where you can go over the glaring problems of a particular movie or series and see what you'd do to fix it or make it more coherent. I'd like to see more of this

I think Michael being involved with a cult makes more sense if he's the figurehead or idol rather than a henchman. You know, that the members would be worshipping him and his acts specifically, like you said, kinda like a messiah thing.

Halloween 6 had most silly premise but was very enjoyable to watch. Suspense was also there.
