Player of over 2 years here. Great breakdown. Many new players thought it would take months to have a full 6 star set up cause they didn’t know about blueprint conversion. Keep up the good work.

Very informative! So much things to watch out for

A good alternative early on before you get to tier 5, is to use 4 piece treacherous + 1 key armor + 1 anything else(savior). This allows you to explore pollution zones as it caps your pollution so you don’t end up at 1hp, and gives increased damage based on sanity. You also get a 20% shield every 8 seconds while below 40%hp. Couple this with some cradle buffs on shields and it can keep you alive in these zones early on. Also the Meta is 3 savior + 2 tides + 1 key armor so unlocking them isn’t a total waste.

Best I can gather about this game so far is that when people are getting these insanely high DPS builds where a lvl 60 boss is going down almost immediately.. it involves a bunch of other details like buffs or particular actions. I tried reasoning my way through it but it didn't seem to matter.. then I just stuck with the KVD and remade it over and over trying different calibration blueprints and armor/mod combinations etc. Nothing really made enough of a difference for me to care. As in, I could blindly pick any combination and no matter what I'm still doing the same ballpark of damage to any enemy. Maybe I'll add 1 or 2K worth of extra DPS but that's it. That adds up over many seconds but not really when dealing with 10 million HP+ bosses etc. I tried crit builds, high elemental dmg builds, weakspot builds etc. I never actually see anyone with such a build where they just run around dominating without extra steps. They are either using shields and no sanity, or having to jump all the time, or switch weapons etc.. like some complex combination. I guess I prefer it that way cause some of these builds sort of break the game. I might be taking my time farming everything just to gradually survive lvl 50+ areas.. and after finally getting it all I still can't fight any kind of boss unless someone on the team has that crazy dps build. Could be some guy 3 days in with all low level stuff but is using a particular combo that allows them to clear bosses in short seconds over and over.  Then that's all they ever do, just farm bosses on repeat. A player like me just has to be lucky enough to get on a team so I can get the rewards for their work lol.

Kvd mod should be deviant energy suffix not burn. It scales with elemental. Get a dummy to shoot and test the dmg you will see the difference.

Most annoying thing for beginners is the limit of stardust you can earn per week. 15k first week. I had 15k and about 100 chests left over. After next 15k this week I played a bit, used maybe 25 chests. Now I still have about 80 chests left but reached the next limit and have to wait another 6 days until I can buy the last missing pieces and/or can up my armor to 5 stars 🤨 why the f are they doing that 🤷🏾‍♂️ cause I could easy effort this 🤦🏾‍♂️

Hiya returning player here. I have a question: I have an old KVD with a 4th basic stat listed (12% elemental dmg). For the life of me I can't seem to replicate it when creating a new weapon. Is this an old calibration? Great vid btw!

Does it matter if you use Elemental or Raw damage? Like is there content that benefits certain types of damage? I just started a couple days ago and im still trying to learn the systems
