Cancelled does not need to end. Just have more guests on like this. This is the direction the pod needs to go

This kinda feels like Tana getting the chance to sit down and talk to her younger self about toxicity, abuse and starting to heal & thrive again you know? it’s beautiful tbh😭

Of all podcasts for this conversation to occur on I think cancelled is the perfect one.

When Brooke says when you stop or are ashamed to tell your friends & family, that’s when you should always know something’s wrong; that was so important!

“He hates everything I love about myself” hit me SOOOOOOO hard. Real asf

I’ve never seen Tana more passionate and genuine than during this convo. It definitely healed a part of her that’s been tamped down for awhile. Beautiful!

I’m so happy a platform like cancelled holds space for empowering girls and the gays this episode made me emotional because you can tell this opportunity validated her experience and validates thousands of people who can relate to her experience. Thank you girls.

From 1945-1985 my mother went through this kind of abuse. It was NOT against the law for a man to put his hands on his wife at that time …. Isn’t that truly unbelievable?
I’m so proud of this young lady.
I’m now 60 years old and truly just finally feel healed from the trauma of witnessing what my mother endured when I was a child seeing all of this kind of abuse at the hands of my father.
Sending you all so much love ❤

I almost cried when Tana started talking about how Kayla should appreciate the new woman she is becoming instead of mourning the person she was before her abusive relationship.

That was so real and she really spoke to all of us who have been through life altering relationships/abuse. May we grow smarter, wiser, and love ourselves even more than ever before ❤🌱

I love Kayla she just seems like she’s talking to her older sisters and I love it. Cancelled does not constantly have to be about the crazy things going on in your lives, the big sisterness and girly chats is what we’re here for and the two do not have to correlate. This is me begging this not to end because it’s literally apart of my routine at this point.
