Could anyone else just listen to and look at Robbie all day or is it just me ❤

This is watching musical history. Willie Dixon was in the middle of it. The Blues. An American invention with its roots in Africa. The Band played the old Chitlin' Circuit where many of the Blues players had played in the Deep South. Robbie knew the true innovators and creators and its great watching this interview. "Laughing to keep from crying....the Blues was telling the truth about life". "The Blues is wisdom", Stewart Copeland in an interview said anyone can play blues music....but it takes a lifetime or a deep emotional connection to play it well. Willie Dixon was such a person. Just with a piece of paper he brings Robbie's licks to life!!!!!

It is so obvious how much Robbie loves to play music, and talk music. Which is what makes him so interesting.

Willie makes that paper sound amazing.

Pr' amazing .. to hear the 5th & flat-7th whistled at the same time.
.. must be the curl of the tongue, mouth / lips shape & musculature, and air pressure..
Then Willie goes on to whistle the Root & Major-3rd .. then, the Root & Minor-3rd.
OMG, How bluesy is THAT !!
Two notes at the same time

14:10 to 14:18 Robbie's guitar solo gives me the chills, and his smile melts me every time.

R.I.P to both WILLE DIXON and ROBBIE ROBERTSON😢💔😊😎

Saw Willie in Detroit, at the Soup Kitchen years ago. Willie was incredible!

... that is Good Advice .. 😊 . Thankyou from Munich, Bavaria

WOWOWで放送されたものだと思いますが、私も当時、受信契約をしていたのでこのVideoを録画し何度も「The Seventh Son」繰り返し見ました。その後、「The Seventh Son」が収録されているCD「Willie Dixon - I Am The Blues」を購入しましたが、やはりこのRobbie Robertson氏との共演Videoほど魅力は感じませんでした。

Who flashed by at 13:27? Joe Cocker? And what's the book on the table?
Ah - now I've seen the end credits, my next question is - where is the full-length video?

Love Robbie, no like him. So missed.

Oh I just love Robbie ❤❤❤❤

Chuck Berry divided the 4/4 pulse into 4, and played "straight eighths" (rock):1234-2234-3234-4234, while Fred Below and Willie Dixon divided the 4/4 pulse into 3, and played a shuffle beat 1(2)3-2(2)3-3(2)3-4(2)3.
