Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected, all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected, and no 2x2 area is fully shaded or fully unshaded.

On each line, the value of every shaded cell is greater than the sum of any two unshaded cells on that line. There are always at least 1 shaded cell and 2 unshaded cells on every line.

Thanks for your solve and for all the super nice words. It's always a blast to watch you solve any puzzles and your solve was super clean (except for missing some basic Sudoku for a little while). It is always so fun to hear your thoughts and you explained every step of the puzzle perfectly. Thanks also to Dorlir for inventing the greatest lines and to everyone that shouted the puzzle out❤

Sometimes when i find a deduction Simon doesnt, i cannot see past that one and find others, All i do is sit and wait until Simon finds the one i found. Its wierd because its not always, but sometimes the brain just wont focus elsewhere.

The "square root" line is easier to deal with if you consider that purple has to get out.

That was harder than I expected. I went down a lot of garden paths with the new rule set (so I hope there will be more puzzles I can practice it on!), and had to lean rather heavily on the solution checker to untangle my messes, winding up in an 81:10 "solve". I was rather surprised that there were not only one, but two rows entirely filled with line - that seemed unlikely, given the rule for the new (to me) line type.

Simon: painstakingly eliminates all but two possibilities from the "square root" line: 11689, or 12699, both with the repeated digit's locations precisely known.
Also Simon: Eliminates 2 from the square root line.

Also also Simon: Does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WITH IT FOREVER. xDD

It would've solved half the puzzle for you on the spot. xD

58:25 after a 16 hour work day involving four separate flights, so I'm tired and used the conflict checker. I did make a mistake pencil marking at the end and my checking helped me fix it.

What a great puzzle, very enjoyable to solve.

I was sceptical at first given the lines have to have a minimum of two unshaded cells, but there is indeed more yin than yang in the final puzzle (just!)

since the older android apps got an update can we get an update for the steam version? It's the old interface before the CTC app. The android apps have all the CTC app features except the empty stars (which would be nice). It even has line drawing and such.
