I Thrifted a RICH Atlanta Goodwill...POOR DECISION?

I’m stepping outside my usual thrift-shopping territory to see if a Goodwill in a more affluent area of Atlanta has better vintage finds… and WOW, some of the prices definitely surprised me! 😂
In this thrift haul, I visit Goodwill in Sandy Springs, City Thrift in Lilburn, and another Goodwill in Lilburn, Georgia, looking for vintage and secondhand pieces to restock my antique booth in the North Georgia mountains.
I find vintage kitchenware, Pfaltzgraff, Franciscan, Metlox, Hazel Atlas milk glass, a vintage Lenox vase, an Art Deco Czechoslovakian rice canister, pottery, children's toys, and more. I also make an estate sale stop where I find a beautiful Franciscan Tulip pattern set that may have just become my new favorite Franciscan pattern!
Once I get home, I go through everything I bought, talk about what I paid, what I think I can sell each item for in my antique booth, and which pieces I decided to leave behind after inspecting their condition.
I also share a viewer comment about my plans to add vintage cookbook recipes to future videos—and, naturally, it gives me another excuse to start looking for vintage cookware! 😉

How can you say your prices are to low is why your products aren’t selling, do you realize that vendors and pickers shop everyday whereas the consumers shop a few times per month.
When your inventory is getting overwhelmed or not moving I totally agree that these items should be boxed up for another day when finding get harder to find in the colder winter months. I also don’t agree that you should scatter your like items around instead of grouping them so that the buyers can see everything in one place that has their interest in mind.
I have to think that not running the A/C at an estate sale is counterproductive. People aren't going to stick around and dig through things if they are on the verge of passing out. If it's broken is one thing... Thanks for another fun episode.
