Hannah (young liberal) was a wonderful breath of fresh air throughout this whole thing, her dispensing of facts and arguments precise and quick. I’m really happy Hasan recognized that. I hope she’s doing well

"I'm stressed out, I'm gonna go change my gender" - literally nobody ever

There’s no way that black conservative man said “The problem with society is that people aren’t willing to take individual responsibility” and then says “fathers leaving their children is their MOMs fault” lmao?!?! Why do they NEVER tell the dads to take individual responsibility for their actions, the misogyny is crazy

@kidnamedoscy 4 years ago

when will people learn that the opposite of conservative isn’t liberal

“that’s not cancel culture, that’s the fucking law.” best Hasan quote ever

"My Mom or Dad doesn't love me, maybe I should be trans or gay?"
My God, this guy has so many fucking juicy takes I can't stop laughing

@arieldoesntloveyou 4 years ago

as a trans viewer, its really refreshing to see Hasan talk about internalized transphobia, and how he himself was at one point transphobic. I grew up being taught that being trans was a sin, and it because so hard to accept myself, and even realized what it was I felt. Thank you.

"I was able to pull if off. I finished high school with a 1.9 GPA. I don't have a college degree".
Yeah, it definitely shows my friend.

the "if gay kids had a strong father figure they wouldn't be gay" is funny to me because i'm trans and bi and my dad is my biggest supporter lol

"My dad was an absentee father who went to prison, so it was my mom's fault I did bad things"

This shit feels so good to watch because I had the dumbest conversation with an older man about systemic racism yesterday and the guy literally said that he's never seen racism in his entire life so he doesn't believe it's a problem in the world. You literally can't argue with people who put their fingers in their ears and close their eyes when you come to them with evidence. It's so frustrating

Guy really said “personal responsibility” in the same minute as saying “all the bad things I did in my life are the fault of my dad being in jail which is my mom’s fault”

@RawMaterialENT 4 years ago

the whole concept of teens v their fathers is meant to convey to the audience that more left leaning things are childish, luckily the dads got dragged here

@thunderbird3304 4 years ago

The thing about the "kids who grew up in fatherless households grow up bad" argument is what is the message sent by this line of reasoning? That mothers' contribution to the household is meaningless? That single moms may as well just leave the child behind because they're gonna grow up wrong anyway? This is a really weird argument that way too many people use

1:15:00 This right here. He says "when you're a teenager, life's a party". This clearly shows how much he's out of touch with the reality of how life is like for teens today.

Is it just me, or is the generation that grew up with the Internet better at critical thinking than the generations that did not?

@TheMusicfreak1029 4 years ago

As an active member of the military, the whole "get vaccinated or get dishonorably discharged" is not a real thing. Yes there are repercussions to not getting vaccinated because you cannot deploy without it, which affects your mobilization readiness but this is literally the same thing the military has done with every single vaccine. If you refuse without a medical exemption you can get chaptered out (which results in a less than honorable discharge, not a dishonorable).

51:33 the way she's eating them conservatives up like it's nothing, while being the youngest person there (not to mention, the only female there too) is so satisfying

The level of empathy these teens have is so beautiful to see.

Question: Is America the best country in the world?
Johnnie: Yes, I can express myself fully as an individual

Johnnie earlier: I got snatched out my car for being rude to a cop
