I am a 70-year old woman, living alone in NYC. I have learnt a great deal from this sweet woman, and gradually, my life is changing. So instead of telling myself "I can't do this" or "go there". Now as I'm slowly catching up with activities I thought I can't do, I'm happier and healthier. Let me felicitate and celebrate this woman, and be most grateful to her for what she has alivened in me ❤. Thank you and God bless you ❤

When I saw her in the swing (19:09), it melted my heart. What a joyful moment. May we all live to be 93 and just as healthy!

Nobody mentioned that she was able to read the soup instructions on the packet without any glasses that alone to me is very remarkable

No bread, no oil, no sweet drinks .. a lot of green vegetables and water (tea), small portions. Praying, thanking, enjoying... Loving her grand grandson who filmed...

This is what the internet is for: I am watching an elderly lady eat soup in the past, from across the world. Thank you.

An elderly 94 lady I lived with 1 1/2 years, was like this grandma, always busy, had a huge garden, drove until she was 93. Cooked daily. Did everything. Totally independent. She passed when she was 96, just went to sleep and then Heaven.

Her cooking reveals a big good health secret. Lots of vegetables, fermented food, and tea. She actually cooks from scratch. What a beautiful lady! I wish she would talk about her life/hobbies.

What struck me the most is that she sleeps on the floor on a thin mattress. 😮 😊

My neighbor is 90 and has just passed her license to drive. She is a spinster and has cared only for her elderly siblings. She's on her own now. She still mows her own lawn, stacks her wood, and keeps her gardens herself. She works for a company in town, keeping their rose garden blooming every year, and in return, she gets her coal at a discount. She walks every day and is always doing something for someone else. She is my mentor and friend.

I have so much respect for for older people living alone with so much discipline. That’s what they have a longer life span they eat healthy and stays active.

It is hard to cook for urself only. Especially at that age, it’s easy to skip meals or have much of an appetite. To see this grandma take care of herself is amazing!! God bless her.
