Greetings Traveler, today we are playing Diablo 2 Resurrected as a Warlock, utilizing entire Horazon's Splendor set, as well as Fire build to clear the game.

The set is new addition to the game for warlock, as it is an endgame level gear similar to Tal Rasha's Wrappings, it's certain pieces are very powerful on their own and can be used it various builds.

Fire builds however are known for their power in the early game, but in the middle of the game they tend to fall off, but Warlock has some nice abilities that could help with that

Yeah, Warlock is still easy mode for the game, even after the “nerf.” I kinda feel like the people complaining he is now unplayable just want the game to become one of those auto-battlers.

This week’s challenge suggestion - Conjuror of Cheap Tricks: Playing as sorceress, you can only cast spells granted by items (charges or plus skills). Shared stash only for items with skills is okay. No skill points may be used in your skill trees since your character has no inherent actual magic abilities. Your character is determined become a legendary hero and will not use set, unique, or runeword items at all - only regular, magic, or rare. No mercs allowed as they will steal your glory, and you must kill every monster in each area you pass through to truly rid the land of evil.

it's perhaps the most balanced character specific set but i think you're right, it favours melee. still, nothing beats trang-oul's for sheer style and poison power and the wrapings in terms of, well, power.

How do you like the new Gothic (Remake) ? I think it is too dark for me, as graphics, and too British in the accents of most of the characters, but I do see the work put into its development and architecture, many areas are beautiful and the music by KaiRo is.. well.. nostalgic 150%.

Despite the nerfing that the Warlock got, the Horazon set is a amazing set if you do a specific skill set. Especially with it's Level 30 Enchant for the sweet boost for Mercenary and Demon. If I recall, my brother currently has maxed out Apocalypse, Synergies are in pretty good level, but he mostly invested into that and Demon Binding, since even after the nerf, Hell Hephasto still a pretty good tank option.

I feel like a retard after years of denial and stubborness with barb and necro, i finally have repeatedly beaten duriel on normal. I'm finally starting to get into the flow and rhythm of grinding in this after a decade of d3.

I’ve said this on Sweet Phil’s vid but I will say it again. I am always for nerfing characters that have either op builds or out class every other build but a milestone. That said the warlock nerfs I didn’t mind that much as it was a joke being able to 1 shot even a champion pack in hell p8, too strong but why the hell has blizzard sorc and hammerdin never getting a well needed nerf? They never get touched yet remain top 3 for 14 whole seasons yet other classes get nerfs makes no sense to me tbh.
Only gripe I have with the warlock nerf was bound demon. Was no need to make it a channeling skill to bind but to not put that in the skill description was dumb, patch notes may say it but skills need to tell you all the details
