Fun fact: If you opened a butterfly cocoon prematurely, you wouldn’t find a half caterpillar half butterfly, but instead a thick liquid. Inside a cocoon a caterpillar’s body almost completely dissolves, leaving only behind structures like breathing tubes required to keep the cells alive to rebuild. Using special cells called imaginal disks, the butterfly is built from near scratch until its fully developed. Despite dissolving and by all logic having died inside the cocoon, butterflies can still keep memories of when they were a caterpillar as tests show they can still recognize certain smells tied to electrical shocks and remember to avoid them.

Butterflies are one of many insects who essentially spend their entire early life eating as much as possible for a massive, but fleeting adulthood that exists only for reproducing. Butterflies often live much shorter, as they cannot molt off damage and often only eat nectar (which while rich in sugar, is nutritionally poor, but some do live longer by licking up tears or other sources of salt) their entire purpose is to use those massive wings to find and impress a partner of their species (colors are not just used to impress but also to make sure the butterfly knows it isn’t reproducing with the wrong species). However this makes caterpillars very vulnerable to predators as they are basically giant nutrient filled bags, as a result many often use camouflage or poison to avoid being eaten, but in some species caterpillars can even trick or bribe ants into protecting them! Either through oozing sugary liquid that ants love so they protect the caterpillar, or by smelling like an ant queen and tricking ants to think they need to feed and protect a new queen.

However, the cocoon takes a minecraft day to break with a netherite enchanted pick.

It takes 5 days for your body to reform inside.

Caterpillar may look disgusting from our POV, especially their evolution process. But their potential and beauty after evolution is inspiring. It's like they say... You don't deserve the butterfly if you can't appreciate the caterpillar. The saying is definitely different, but i stand by this version. 😤

I would say that one way to make it more challenging for you is if your friends had a way to unlock different abilities to help them find you, like one has a scanning ability one has a compass ability and one has a tracking ability.

-Scanning: Scans the surrounding 100* blocks above, 100* blocks below and 100* blocks in a radius around person, the scan, if you could see it, would look like a cylinder shaped scan around the player with this ability, and if you are in the area of affect it will show your name tag even if you are sneaking.  *adjust this number as you see fit.

-Compass: Shows which direction you are in no matter where you are in the world(s) and points in your direction similarly to how an ender eye points to the stronghold, also if you are in the Nether or End Dimension it points to the respective portal(s).

-Tracking: Shows the path you have taken highlighting the blocks you have walked on and placed so the player who has this ability can see where you have been, Does not highlight water or water source blocks.

This would allow them to find you more often, however these abilities should have a cooldown so they can't just always see or know which direction you are in from them.

I think that would be a way to make this challenge a little more balanced for them, I've only watched 1 of your videos so far but if your asking about balancing things then you have probably won ever single challenge you have posted, if I'm wrong that's fine but your friends rage quit this challenge because you made it so you could get out of the cage in more than one way, which seems unfair to me, I don't think you should have an ability that invalidates there capture ability (teleporting) and the cage ( your silk) made of bedrock and iron bars.


However there capture ability seemed unfair to me as well because once one of them got you, you couldn't do anything, so that seems wrong to me, you should have been able to struggle free based on the form you were in.
In your final form all 3 of them should have had to use the capture ability on you to keep you from escaping.

Anyway that's my input and critic of what I saw, I had fun watching this, I hope you do more of these and try your best to make it possible for you friends to defeat you by making things balanced and fair for everyone playing.

At first I thought the tornado thing was absurd until I remembered that whole thing about the butterfly effect where a butterfly flapping its wings could create a destructive tornado. Very clever.

Also, you’ve done gods, you’ve done bugs, I kind of want to see some mythical creatures, like maybe Cerberus where you start off as a hellhound puppy, or maybe a Troll or something.

Small suggestion to make things more interesting at the end?

For every challenge completed, you get to choose from 3 powers but can only pick 1. The other 2 become permanently unavailable, so you really have to think strategically. To raise the stakes even higher, you could narrow it down to just 2 powers, with the one you don’t choose being unlocked for the hunters instead. So sometimes, picking a power you don’t really need can be the smarter move if it keeps the hunters from getting a powerful combo.
