I’ve been watching you for about a year now, and slowly cataloging the advice you provide in my brain. My wife and I did an overnight at a casino not too far from home this weekend. The entire time I was playing I was thinking about your approach to each game and each situation. While I’ll admit I deviated occasionally, I followed most of your advice pretty closely, particularly the evaluation and setting of limits after a win. We started with $1000 between us, and went home with $3500 combined. Admittedly, mostly me. I can’t thank you enough for altering how I approach my gambling trips. I know I won’t always have the same results, but I know I’ll enjoy myself every time.

Just got back from Vegas where I tried my darnedest to apply all the things I have learned from binging Cowboy Slots’ videos over the past two months. Been to Vegas 10x (this was my 11th) and never even came close to breaking even. Went this time with $1500 for the trip and spent it without going over the 1% rule. Also started on bankroll machines before moving up the risk ladder. The result…came home with $2100 and had a blast. Would have been more had I not got a bit cocky and didn’t set a walk-away number one day which cost me a few hundred. That is Cowboy Slots. I owe you a beer 😀

Oh my goodness so many times I’ve tried to understand the volatility thing and you absolutely put it in ways that I understand it the best so thank you for that

I finally got my first ever handpay yesterday. A triple stars with the scatter bonus feature, $1 denom, 5 line. It hit 7 with a star flag, triple, triple for $1,352. Put $100 in, $5 a spin, was down to $6 for 1 last spin and it hit with $1 left in the machine.

I don’t know about everyone else but I really like it when the top dollar bonus goes : OOOOHHHHH YEAHHH!!!! COME ON!!!!

Problem that happens in Vegas for me almost every time out; I go up $100 very quickly, however, if I left right then I'd be bored, if I stay, probably gonna lose it back plus. So now, I'm basically resolved to have a loss budget, not a win budget. Good news is sometimes I can go up where losses can not affect the profits as much OR losses where wins cannot overtake losses so easily. Gambling is this way. Milk the comps and free drinks, have fun. If you try to treat it as a business you'll be miserable. Lighten up, life is too short! GL!

I'm no slot tech but as a player, these are some of the tips I go by when I play. I enjoy these videos from you and I give similar tips for lower budgets on my channel. Great job! 🙌🏾👏🏾

I just googled this. I appreciate this tutorial because I’m heading to the casino tonight on a string budget. I know nothing about gambling slots,
I just want to have some fun enjoy a fresh cold cocktail and learn something new that way I don’t walk away feeling like a looser because I blew my mini budget on one machine but I walk away with a fun memory, learned something new and maybe even meet a new friend! That’s how you win the game of life! Thanx again

dude i'm so happy i found your channel, I always knew I was going into the games with the wrong strategy but its easy to get caught up in the loop of trying to recoup losses. the way you explain it in real time as you play is so engaging and makes so much sense now. I hadn't gone to my local casino in a while but the i've won almost 10k at them and have been losing ever since so I had to stop for a while. This will help me bring back the fun into it without it letting it become a problem.

If I don't get 1-3 line hits within the first 10 spins, I am obviously on the wrong machine.

Thank you, Cowboy, for an intelligent approach to betting and I really enjoy your demystification of slot machines!

If there's a game that I'm considering to play at a casino that I've never been to before, I'd prefer to observe somebody else play the game first to see how it's behaving. If the player is at least maintaining the amount they have in the game after, say, 30 min of play that's a game I'd probably try out. If I see that the game is eating up money hand over fist, then I'd probably not play that machine, even if it's a low volatility game. These points also apply for a new game at a casino I regularly go to or have been to before.
