I bought a German made machine a few years ago (DRY ICE ENERGY) it is made for auto detailing not industrial, with 4 tips it was nearly $7,500US. Uses a max 50CFM. Works incredibly well, has a grinder in the hopper with agitators operates completely on air. ZERO electricity.

After a year, how do you feel about this unit? Do you still think it's worth it?

the cost of the medium to clean one engine bay or the whole underneath of a saloon car ? !!!

Be good do see how it cleans corrosion / rust in UK

It’s not even that dirty. Can you get a real dirty car.

Thanks for the review. So i see there is no flat wide nozzle for under body cleaning in the kit, right? So its not really suitable for full under body cleaning of a vintage car. More suitable for engine bay and small stuff cleaning i guess. Also yes power of the blasting doesnt come from the dry ice blaster, it comes from your compressor which need s to be heavy duty. Better a screw compressor.

I have the same machine. I tested it for two hours so far. I am happy with it for the money but there is a major caveat: The stock 4mm id nozzles included are absolutely terrible. The flow is bad and so is the cleaning power. I 3d printed my own nozzles with a much larger inside diameter and a smooth merge into a 5.5mm throat section. With a 90 CFM/2,5m3 min diesel compressor at 115 psi the result is not twice as good, but rather 6 times better than the stock nozzles. Works very well. The power is high, enough so to take off paint here and there. If you run this with a worse compressor than mine maybe the stock nozzle works for you, but I would recommend cutting it down a lot. Maybe to 30mm total Instead of 400...

It's awesome but super expensive.

can you use a shorter  tool head

Dry ice blasting full setup cost of

How much cost of machine

We just got one of these and we have a pretty beefy air compressor setup but noticed when using the machine the psi drops to around 60psi whilst the trigger is pulled and holds a constant 60psi. When not in use were sitting at 110psi. I assume we dont have enough air?

Thank you for your explanation… If the device is running for a full hour at medium pressure, how many kilograms of dry ice does it consume?

Do you have to use the 20ft nozzle? Did you have any luck creating wider nozzles?

Just wondering about the compressor you're using, I'm in New Zealand and the only ones I can find that are capable of supplying 100-125 CFM are upwards of $13,000 - $68,000 NZD used!

Hiya mate I'm just about to invest in that very machine to start up a little business in Middlesbrough, are they easy to use ? And who do you get your dry ice from ? Also does it come with the wider nozel or would I have to buy one?

Thank you for your honest review, appreciate the video!

How long is the hose mate ?

How much ice does it consume for example of cleaning the whole engine bay? Just ordered myself one.
