If you enjoyed this mix, my Hip-Hop Mixing Course goes way deeper.
I break down exactly how to mix hip-hop properly. Clean transitions, quick mixing and tasteful scratches 👇🏻

I wish I can like this more. What a breath of fresh air.  Tired of demos with electronic edm music. Much much appreciated.

I've just done a 2 hour set on internet radio using the same techniques, stems is a proper game changer for HipHop.

🔥🔥🔥 you're playing all my 1990-91y college days hits omg I would put that same DJ mix together.

I've been dj'ing for decades....your short tutorials and lessons have taken my skills to a whole new level!!!  Luvin' the RevSev!

Yesssssir  Absolutely 🔥

Go DJ…that’s my DJ

On behalf of all old heads...bro, you NAILED IT!
10/10 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ABSOLUTELY AWESOME MAN! A BILIION AND 1 THANK-YOUS MATE!

One of the cleanest most interesting HH sets I've seen in a while. All the songs are spot on, the scratches delicious and the use of the stems 👌 Thanks for the inspiration and all your videos 🙏

You deserve to be the champ! Hats off.

This is the dopest sub 15 minute mix on YouTube. Shit is FIRE, my dude 🤜🏽🤛🏼

Buzzing my head off all the way through this.

Big L RIP 🙏
Great routine as always. 🙌

This is really inspiring. I know it wont be super fast, but this is exactly the kind of set I'd like to perform.
Maybe throwing in a little J5  though haha. But for real, this is sick.

I am excited to dig into your course. A few days ago i got a cheap course on sale for like15 bucks and thought "why not" but the whole thing was house music.
I dont mean to be disrespectful to house DJs, but I was able to properly mix exactly how he was doing it before i ever took the course. It took about 1 day with a 100 dollar mixer.
I am excited to learn techniques that can be applied to songs that dont have full a fully minute of drums on the front and back of the song.

The best as always!
Thank you for adding all that intructions 🙏🏼, 🔥 Blakey 🔥

Great mix Blakey! No bs, straight to the point cuts & drops onto the next banger, & it doesn't feel crowded or like too much is being done!  Keep it up!

I find that my right hand is slighty weaker, slower... BUT my right has more funk / rhythm / swing / less quantised, whereas my left is faster, which is ok but sometimes feels robust / static / too quantised.

On the crossfader, though, my right is faster & more accurate which helps with the quicker left, but my left feels lumpy, slower but it seems to aid the right hand's swing.

Trying to add a little of both strengths of each side on the fader hand & jog hand to balance it because I still have to "think" when I swop over to the right jog is tough, but more practice is slowly getting it better.

I wish you were my tutor in person

90s hip hop are dope

ending with 93 til was just perfect. best beat ever

Dj Blakey the real DJ HERO🤯

What you did with 'Watch Out Now' was ❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥! As a DJ working on my beat juggling game. I'm gonna have to use youtube settings and slow that part down😄. Great work as always Sir! 💪
