I Simulated A Yutyrannus In Modern Russia, Chaos Followed

A Yutyrannus was a nine-meter feathered tyrannosaur that lived around 125 million years ago, and the wild part is that it was actually built for the cold. So I wanted to find out: if one of them hatched in modern Siberia — the coldest inhabited place on the planet — could it actually survive out there?

This one follows a single hatchling I called Ash, from the second it cracks out of the shell all the way to the end. The reindeer, the wolves, the rivers that freeze overnight, a winter that drops to minus fifty. And here's the thing I didn't expect going in: the cold was never what was going to kill it. Something quieter out there was.
