Brian used to be the voice of reason. Lois used to be a caring mother. Bonnie used to be a devoted wife. Now Brian is a hypocritical drunk, Lois is a murderer, and Bonnie is a one-note cheater. Here's how each of them got there.

You forgot about Chris Griffin who later became Chris-Chan basically.

Quagmire is literaly one of the worst people that you could imagine, so its really bizarre that they turned him into the voice of reason when everyone was getting more despicable. Well, i guess they could not make him worse without cancelling the show, so in a really bizarre way it makes sense.

it's SAD how these Main Characters from Family Guy were Once Beloved to most Hated in the Modern Seasons

@judyjohnson9207 10 months ago

So... ALL characters got worse?!?

@scarletwhisperz 10 months ago

Quagmire being a freak gave the rest of the cast room to be better people. And making the librarian worse than Quagmire was the worst character assassination a show has ever done.

I really hate the rivalry between Quagmire and Brian. Before the episode where Quagmire's hatred for Brian is revealed they barely shared screentime.
From my outlook it was unnecessary to make them enemies.
One of the things it annoys me more about their dynamic is whenever Brian tries to get along with Quagmire and even compliments him but somehow Brian ends up offending Quagmire unintentionally most of the time.

3:50 this is NOT cannon. it was a bit of a movie and they made him crippled again cause they don’t want us to be happy with him walking, in one of the most recent seasons when joes dad comes back he literally tells him he got paralyzed in the line of duty. just getting your facts right there cause for someone who watched family guy you should know this

I absolutely hate how much of a hypocrite Quagmire had become. The scene with Brian at the restaurant was a perfect textbook definition of right messege, wrong messenger. It was just so annoying seeing him talk like just because he acknowledges his wrongdoings it suddenly makes him above Brian somehow.

The episode where Quagmire talks to Brian like he's this worthless person and Quagmire's all good and volunteers at the soup kitchen and blah blah blah that's when I gave up on Quagmire because they're trying to turn him into this moral pillar even though he's a horrible person and it just doesn't work

You miss the point with Lois. The "customer of the week" episode starts with her so brutally underappreciated that something is about to break. And it does, and like on only a few rare occasions (another is when she becomes the Christmas Grinch) we have the fun of seeing her act totally out of character. But we still totally love her.
