What would you like me to cover next? Lemme know! :_zeroavatar:🔥

You actually can shoot the trip mines… you just missed every shot lol love watching you experience this game for the first time!

Welcome Guardian! We're glad to have you

Man, seeing those old Destiny 1 cutscenes really takes me back. I remember booting the game up 12 years ago for the first time and just being enthralled by the world and its lore. I love seeing other people go through that same experience for the first time, so I can relive my own memories through their reactions. Welcome to our ranks, Guardian.

Welcome new light, to a world full of wonder and possibility.  The journey you start here will libe in your memory for years to come.  Eyes up guardian.

In all my years as a Destiny player, through all my playthroughs, and videos watched of others playthroughs, I've never once seen anyone miss the first door and end up under it.

Thank you.

I love seeing you play d1 first so fucking much so many people just skip straight to d2 without doing any research not noticing the 2 in its name

Two tips. Hold down the weapon swap button to access your heavy weapon. Check you inventory screen for your class upgrades, make sure you unlock them as they unlock, they give you a double jump, different type of grenades and straight stat boosts for your character.

Oh, and in this game, shotguns are waaayyyy more close-range than in most games.

You don't need to buy Silver. The game was instructing you to spend the silver it just gave you on those loot boxes. Silver is used strictly for cosmetics. All weapons, armor, subclasses, etc are earned in-game with no way to purchase directly with money.

Dinklebot was replaced because 1) Bungie had a hard time getting him in the studio because of his busy schedule, and 2) his portrayal of The Ghost was monotone and robotic which a bunch of people complained about.

Destiny is one of my favorite games because of the whole social aspect, so many memories with other guardians, doing challenging encounters and just doing dumb stuff. And it is so cool seeing someone play it for the first time and experience this fantastic world.

Destiny fans are so passionate because there is really nothing like it. It’s essentially the only game in its genre. The social aspect is a huge part of it and if you get a chance to do a raid at some point you’ll really get a taste at what makes destiny so special. Destiny has fallen short of its potential in a lot of ways but the raids specifically are some of the highest quality video game content I’ve ever experienced.

Destiny 1 had so much potential and released in a very disappointing state. They did a lot of work and especially once the taken king expansion came out, it finally was in a great state. The potential and promise of destiny is unlike any other game and when it hits those highs you’ll understand why it’s more than just a game for so many people. There are countless stories of people meeting friends for life or even marrying people they met through this game. It’s like a second home and in its glory days had the best video game community I’ve ever seen. It’s a real shame the hate marathon got because it seems like a genuinely great game. The community has been hurt for a long time now and is bitter and resentful and lashing out, and marathon was collateral damage.

Great time to start on D1 because bungie recently committed to restoring D2 and bringing back all the lost content so once your finished with D1, D2 should be in its true final, complete state and a great place for new players once again.

UGH you get to experience the soundtrack for the first time. Absorb it as much as you can! Its so good!!!

it took me too long to realize he is playing D1, not D2, the lighting is so pretty! I miss it so much!

I forgot how good D1 was. It still really looks good. It brought back some memories. Sucks about the DLCs but glad you started with D1 first. I’m glad to see people at the tower. I hope you stick with it at least through the campaigns. Good video.

11:20 It says this: РФБА

You're going to love this game more and more. I fell in love with this game many years ago and still love it today.

Aztecross was sad his son chose Warlock because he's a Titan lol

bro made me wanna return to D1 after a decade

1:55 2014, as for when the game itself takes place we have no clue but personally I'd guess roughly 1000 years into the future

his name is ghost and he is a ghost. it's like naming your newborn child "human"

I should also mention he's the only ghost named ghost, every other ghost is name like "tommy" or something
