Northern Beaches builder Andrew Ivering bought himself a boatload of rotten stringers and got to work. The rebuild scored a 600mm pod extension and a 300HP Suzuki outboard. He kept the retro cabin.
It’s a DIY rebuild with a few rough edges and plenty of clever ideas, including the homemade water ballast setup and a garden watering system to wash the windscreen.
