Love that they went about the Smuggler in a similar way they did the Painter.

Sirenade has always been an MVP, even a lvl 1 without CD lol

Smuggler is my new favorite. Had a run in Pantra where I got Gemwing, Toximoth, Cordycant, Aviarab, and Miasmaw. Scaled poison in the shop to a silly amount and got a bunch of multicasts with the trinket that gives flying type. Huge fan of Smuggler.

This character makes me SUPER excited for a third region. I want more smuggling!

The thing is I think it’s good protect works that way because it protects you from your opponent doing the knock out against you shenanagins with the crow and legendary. If they knock you out and still gain the stats even if you get the monster back that’s just an active detriment to you now. You already have the fox for the revival stuff.

12:51 I think it’s pronounced like, “pet-ri-rex”, like the word petrify. Feels a bit easier to say

PET Reh Rex. As in Petrified. LOL

I think the grenades would love to be on the same team as shikitsune, ideally electronade while also having the musician’s ability, but that starts becoming quite the pipe dream.

Smuggler in jinto: yeah this is ok I guess

Smuggler in pantra: but I like this😁

I feel like part of the importance of the discount on smuggler is to help the fact that he does add more stuff to your pool, which can make finding dupes of stuff you want harder, so the stuff he gives you has a bit more "value added", both to encourage you to actually use the trainer gimmick, and to make him more attractive, when there could be arguments that almost any trainer would be "more optimal" than him without the discount, since you're basically just fishing for high rolls in his pool without it.

Now someone can potentially have a Masked Man run where they get the Smuggler, Painter, and Twins abilities...

Oh sweet, they fixed the Shield Crest bug
Was getting tired of running into Tengustos that also shielded(first guy I saw with that had a 8 multicast one).

I'd love to see another run with this character asap, the smuggled set didn't seem impactful this time, would be nice to see more broken run.

Just started the vid but if you get torrantler with steamscuttle you can easily build a near instant infinite. Had it happen to me on lethal.

I feel Runerock is pretty bad as a mon. 45 debuff stacks are not doing anything against a proper debuff build, and the shielding is not enough to really do anything either on that kind of cooldown
