This was SO MUCH FUN to watch Gab and chat solve. I was just happy to be there and see the mystery unravel. I really hope we get more streams like that in the future! I'm loving this channel so much.
Can I just say that I always LOVE the tiny effects you throw on things like the cutting of the string. It’s so satisfyingly fun the watch. I always smile and chuckle a bit EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. it’s in one of your videos. 21:51
"You cracked the code! Now all you have to do is take the numbered cards, use the opposite sides- mirror- flip them 32 degrees horrizon- flip vertical but only on Sunday-" . . . maybe just living in the 16 century wont be so bad.....
I am absolutely loving this new channel Gab- even not watching the live stream I had an absolute blast watching this and the jigsaw puzzle vid. So much fun, hope these vids continue!
If you want to replay the game, you could make a second copy of the affected cards. By tracing the ticket and cutting the copy, or rewriting the number grid, and keeping the maze in the book and just holding it differently etc, this is salvageable for additional playthroughs.
I also love playing games like this, but live on my own so it's really nice to be able to watch you play as you talk with chat and figure it out together. I hope that we get more.
23:05 I think the instructions were saying to wind the string up by holding the ends and swinging the card around, then to actually spin the card by pulling on the ends of the string. It might have made the numbers clearer because the method you were doing needed the time to change directions. I think it's a bit like how animation works.
I love these games, but haven't played this one yet, so I'll stop watching for now and will be back later when I had a go at this myself.
One tip for replayability: before you start, make photocopies of everything or have someone else make them to avoid spoilers and cut/fold these, so you can keep the originals intact. This way you can play again with a different group of people (or gift it to someone else)
having a confusing day for my feelings today, so having this playing will help me greatly!!! hope you have a great day goobus (and everyone watching!!!)
Gab, I think you'll love The Emerald Flame (or anything by PostCurious), it's a step above Exit and Unlock games, of course a little bit more expensive but they have refill packs to regift so it won't be a waste. They make tabletop puzzles and it's SUPER thematic!
