Beautiful rendition of the first  movement of Moonlight Sonata ❤

I actually read years ago that it was his father who contributed to his deafness. When he was a young boy, his father wanted him to become another Mozart and thus made him practice constantly, and beat him on the side of his face when he didn't or when he made the slightest mistake.

I found it really interesting, thank you !
When you mentioned that Beethoven couldn't hear the applause of the public after his performance, I immediately thinked about the scene in the movie: "Copying Beethoven".
Really lovely and accurate scene.

I have conjectured that the late piano sonatas of Beethoven sound the way they do ONLY on pianos built in the 20th century....because, as a result of his deafness, Beethoven could project what the piano would sound like in the future. Just a thought

4 Levels of shubert please 🙏 😢

Pathetique definitely sounds anime ;)

Let me recommend the classic 750-page book entitled, "The Lives of the Great Composers" by Harold Schonberg, 3rd Edition. Its 41 chronological chapters provide highlights of the lives of approximately 100 well known composers including their musical training, marriages, children, significant compositions, work habits, physical/emotional/mental maladies and other interesting commentary. Beethoven is profiled in Chapter 7. Deafness is discussed in some detail with the speculated cause being either the result of a bout with typhus or from syphilis. A musician wrote at the time (1825), when Beethoven was virtually stone deaf, that despite this significant disability, by watching the violinist's bow in a string quartet's practice session, he could determine "the smallest imperfections in tempo or rhythm and correct them immediately." He was also short (5 feet 4 inches), had a large head, was clumsy and uncoordinated, had no social graces and was prone to rages. Notwithstanding these attributes, if he was able to enter the Pantheon of the world's greatest composers, there's nothing stopping the rest of us, other than talent, passion and commitment.

Incredibly interesting!🤩
Looking forward to learning more about another composer's daily routine too!

I have never felt such mental clarity, concentration, revitalization and motivation until I took a cold shower in winter. It's one of the best things I've ever done. Two or three minutes of torture for hours of pleasure. Of course there is a safe way to do it and the dangerous way.

Where can i find daily routines of all these composers?

Thank you for the video🙏🏻There’s different theories about Beethoven’s hearing loss…There’s an article (year 2001) linking his hearing loss with Paget’s disease, which makes a lot of sense when you read it😉 Pathetique and moonlight are definitely my favourite sonatas, deep and meaningful✨Pleaaaaaase, BACH next!

A beautiful exposition ~

Thank you for interesting video. You asked for requests for other composers. I have always been fascinated by chopin . Perhaps a video on his relationship with George sand and perhaps how that influenced his composing. Do you think she was instrumental in some of the great pieces. Also I am very interested in the Schumann’s. Female composers don’t get enough recognition I feel certainly Fanny Mendelssohn had to give up composing when she married Felix.clara Schumann I presently love and working on her nocturne, could you do a video on this piece .

Great video ! Thanks for posting ! Just started to follow your channel ❤

You look very good for your 30s. Good content as well. Need daily routine from some baroque composer please 😅

Nice video as always ;) Could you do Scriabin (Skrjabin) soon please? :)

Sorry you have already done video on chopin. Apologies. Perhaps let’s celebrate female composers Clara Schumann.

Can you do Mozart’s next, please? :))

How Long do you practice piano a day? I can only practice piano for two hours a day. Do you think that’s enough?
