So glad YouTube suggested this video to me, albeit 3 months late! I have had my 996 cup nearly 7 years and still loving the journey. They’re a labour of love so to speak, but such a rewarding race car. Looking forward to following your journey with yours.

My new favourite YouTube channel. Excellently written and produced, and it's good to see I'm not the only weirdo that loves 996 racecars!

Beautiful storytelling. We are waiting for you to come back. You truly are a car enthusiast.

Sometimes, the algorithm can take you beautiful places.

07:13  "I really loved that scene too. And in Hollow Man, the Porsche 996 Kevin Bacon drove looked absolutely stunning."

THIS is what it's all about! It felt like meeting myself in another body listening to the deep passion for this very particular subject and era of motorsports. The nostalgia and excitement for these cars is like nothing else. I drive my 96 Viper everyday with the same love and child like amazement every time I lay eyes on it. Not many things in life can do that to a person...

First episode turned out great, can’t wait for the next.

911 is my favorite car and I flip between 996 and 991 for my favorite generations- best thing about the 996 race models is that it was the final generation before they moved to paddle shift, and nothing against it but sequential shift is so much more fun. Closest I can get to driving them has always been simulators (and will remain so for a good while), so this is a really satisfying watch. Best part of all was your kids geeking out btw; my relationship with my sibling has always been rough so seeing them share the seat and be all smiles hits deep 🥲

Driving a 996.2 GT3 Clubsport for 5 years, I wish you all the best and a lot of fun with the real deal 👌
Cheers from Switzerland

Wonderful story telling! Congrats on the GT3 🎉

Episode 2 please...

this channel will blew over, great videos

Congratulations - Looking forward to this 👏

Incredible video! Thanks for making this kind of content. I have been racing and searching for purpose since the late 80's. SCCA, HSR, Grand-Am (ST 2007-2010) NASA and many more. Happiness, elation, bitterness....then back to just enjoying the cars. What a great journey you are on!

All I need is another reason to obsess about racing again.  Like the mafia, it always pulls you back in!  You just happened to pick my favorite, the Porsche 911.

More! More! More!

Amazing story and visuals. I love the way how you tell the story. I’m inspired. Thank you.

That tiny Lawson's gets me every time.

Really enjoyed part one.  I embarked on this same journey about 10 years before you.  Depending on how far you intend to take this (track days to HSR), it will be a thrilling ride.  One thing I can tell you, if you decide to race this,  the purchase price of the car will be a mere “drop in the bucket” compared to the cost of what’s to come.  Good luck and looking forward to the next installment.

I can’t believe I just discovered this. What an amazing start to your journey. I’m so jealous and your words resonate so much with me. Love that your 2 little girls immediately jumped in to the GT3 Cup when it arrived. I have 2 little girls myself and try to expose them to Motorsports as much as possible. Excited to follow your journey and hope to cross paths on the track one day!  Come down to Road Atlanta !
