🔖☢️ We infiltrated the Fukushima exclusion zone, established following the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in March 2011.
After the disaster, a vast area of Japan was evacuated and sealed off; today, it is a radioactive, abandoned zone devoid of people but patrolled by police and monitored by surveillance cameras—a place inhabited only by wildlife and radiation.
This episode marks the start of our illegal urban exploration (urbex) trek into Fukushima.
We cross barriers, slip into the "red zone," evade cameras and patrols, and explore abandoned residential neighborhoods, a school, a nursing home, a go-kart track, and other sites left behind after the evacuation.
This isn't a documentary—it’s a real-life adventure filmed in a cinematic vlog style, where a single wrong move could lead to arrest.
This expedition kicks off a chain of events that ultimately results in us spending three months in a Japanese prison.
