Finn and his hate for european music is hilarious as a European.

Finn: Europe is CRINGE

Also Finn: Ya'll ever hear of gay porn?

I'm sure Finn got bullied by a European when he younger lol. 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

I try really hard to spot the differences when Finn says something is "bad" versus when something sounds "good" but to me they sound almost identical.

I'll never forget going to a virgin records store in Berlin when I was 16. The rap and R&B section was labeled "black music" and they had a massive poster of...Eminem 😐

Finn in 2021: tries to be a force of positivity, even kind of apologizing for his black metal video

Finn in 2022 after a full year of viewer growth, and having to deal with internet assholes: “Fuck europeans” 😂

Some dude: Wears a backwards hat
Finn: "lmao he's literally cosplaying as an american"

I can't play metal, but I think I've just been inspired to do a yaoi hip-hop concept album

I remember walking thru Baltimore with my family about 20 years ago, and as we approached a group of people listening to some sort of street comedian, I overheard him saying "how you can you tell the difference between Americans and Europeans? The Europeans smoke". Annoyingly, me, my mother, stepfather, were all smoking cigarettes.

As a European I can agree that some of these are actually really wack, just like I've seen so many American bands being equally cringe at this amateur/intermediate level. But if there is a genre where Europeans have always managed to stand out worldwide is Metal. Influential bands like Meshuggah, Rammstein, Opeth, Iron Maden, Gojira, Black Sabbath, etc made it as big as many Americans. There will always be good and bad stuff everywhere at the end of the day. But yeah, I understand the humoristic side of the video.

As an cringy European i agree on everything Finn says. We are cringy, and we love it

I fucking lost it at the moment the german disclaimer popped up xD
Great job as always Finn!
Edit: I think the fact that a lot of the cliches that finn brings up are same stereotypes we use in europe to shit on our neighbours just underlines his credebility in this subject xD

"Who were the big european pop-punk bands? They dont exist"

Millencolin: wtf dude

Funny video, I think I - as a european - have a few things to add to this:

The singers of Siberian Meat Grinder are wearing masks, because they're leftists in russia, that had to deal with a shitton of neo nazi violence and government repression (remember, Russia is a country where journalists critical of the government regularly just get shot in some back alley), so they do have a good reason to cover their faces. SMG is basically a side project of the political rapcore band Moscow Death Brigade, and they were guests in Hoya's (Madball) podcast a couple of months back.

Wolf Down broke up a couple of years ago, because Larissa (the singer) accused some of the other bandmembers of seuxally assaulting her. She now has an industrial-metal something project, which is pretty interesting from a musical perspective.

Since this probably already is the most european comment ever, I'll just shut up now.

The wolf down vocalist actually left the band and founded venom prison who are one of the best Death metal bands around at the moment

I mean... It's not like us europeans haven't roasted every part of US culture and politics and whatever yall do over there for years so I think we need to suck it up, these are some well deserved roasts!

A lot of great metal bands up here in Canada are heavily influenced American bands. Which, of course, makes a lot of sense.
You should definitely make a video on Canada’s Metalcore/Deathcore scene and react to bands like Threat Signal, Comeback Kid, Ion Dissonance, and Despised Icon.

Nasty are hilarious, and I totally agree, one reason why this works is that they are fully aware that what they do is inherently ridiculous and they go all in on it (Nanowar of Steel are another example, terribly european, but so over the top...). Best example is probably the end of the "At war with love" video, the singer spinning the basketball on his finger, menacing stare to the camera, the ball drops to the floor, and he just stands there, finger raised, staring at the camera, doesn't even blink, like nothing happened... 😅 though from what I heard (primarily on this & the punkrock mba channel), it's probably a bit tougher for european bands to pull of this "tough guy" image when neither they nor their audience have any background in that. I don't think I ever met a single aggressive person at a concert. Especially the hardcore/beatdown shows. There is blood, not everyone leaves with the same amount of teeth that they come with, but everybody is happy... I got so confused when I heard you talk about people starting fights at shows on purpose, that is something I'd never ever expect to happen.
EDIT: Being German, I think the most European thing to do now is to totally overdo it and make part 2 :D

As european, this video was hilarious, congrats. Remember: as USA citizen, you can't feel offended about your culture because you don't have any!

Someone in the chat said the England isn’t European anymore and I have news for that person: leaving the EU doesn’t change the continents.
