This was an extraordinary interview and exchange.. Congratulations to both of you- I'm not really a fan of jazz (or Irish) but you both have just helped to make me think about it all in much deeper context, with far deeper appreciation. Obviously Marsalis is a legend, but you sir interviewer whose name should be somewhere in the headline or description, also did a great job. A real connection and interesting to watch on an otherwise boring COVID 19 lockdown night ;)

Hearing Wynton play piano is always great. His trumpet playing isn't as impressive as his piano playing, though, if you ask me. Of course, no one did!! It's like Dizzy knew how to play the piano too. He could even keep up with chord changes.
