The more I listen to Mathis, the more I realize he’s a very moody person. He takes things personally, making others nervous, and often acts on a whim rather than following the law. This case was not frivolous—it should have been dismissed only if the plaintiff’s complaint was baseless. She simply didn’t like her hair, and I can understand that. There have been times when I’ve left the barber with a terrible haircut. Out of courtesy, I tip them and never return, but if I had the choice, I wouldn’t pay at all.
