1989 Tennessee vs Auburn was the first game I attended. Coach Johnny Majors was right. I will never forget! GBO!

It’s been ingrained in my brain since I was born that majors got shafted for Heisman.

This mini documentary was fantastic.

I'm still embarrassed by the way Coach Majors was treated by UT, after having heart surgery.  That entire transition was very unprofessional and ungrateful!

Such an amazing life full of care and concern for others. His legacy lives on in those who knew him and had their lives touched by his love.

When I got out of USAF i was working full time at Mcghee Tyson  in Alcoa for the TN Air National Guard when Johnny Majors was hired. I remember the radio stations playing "When Johnny Comes Marching Home".

Glad I got to see him coach . Attack, attack, attack.

Always a proud Tennessean and Volunteer.  Thank you and Go Vols.

My gosh I loved Coach Majors----Tennessee through and through! RIP

I was born early 70s n can remember the Majors era . Would love to go back again myself. Every team needs to see this documentary n take it to heart. GBO!!

Thank you 🍊🧡

God bless him. He was Tennessee through and through.

Johnny Majors was Tennessee football.

What a great tribute!!!! I had occasional to talk with him three times and once, I said, “ I am not an expert but I think such and such a player should be moved to the end.” He said, “ I am not an expert either “ and I just laughed. He signed two sweaters for me and I will always treasure the those. He spoke to me on the way to class, and a I thought : here a legend and he was dignified and kind to acknowledge me. One other time he was describing an Iowa state football game in the final seconds and they had Notre Dame in the roles by lining up to kick the winning field goal. The kicker lined up to kick the winning field goal but slipped in the mud and Iowa Stats lost. He said the newspapers gave him “grief” and he said I was n’t even playing” .Ha, ha, ha!

He passed away two days after Pat Dye in June 2020. If people remember what was going on at the time in this country, my first thought was that we are losing some high quality people that we needed and they will never be replaced. That made me very depressed.
