Babylon: The Greatest City of the Ancient World

Imagine walking toward Babylon in 570 BC—a city surrounded by enormous walls, brilliant blue gates, towering temples, crowded markets, massive canals, and monumental palaces.

In this cinematic journey, we travel deep into the heart of ancient Babylon and explore what life was really like inside one of history's greatest cities. From the legendary Ishtar Gate and the magnificent Processional Way to the enormous Etemenanki ziggurat, we uncover the architecture, engineering, culture, laws, trade, astronomy, and daily life that made Babylon extraordinary.

Discover the world of Nebuchadnezzar II, the ruler who transformed Babylon into a powerful imperial capital. Explore the Euphrates River, ancient irrigation systems, royal palaces, Babylonian markets, clay tablets, the Code of Hammurabi, and the astronomical knowledge that gave us concepts such as the 60-minute hour and 360-degree circle.

We also examine one of history's greatest mysteries: Did the Hanging Gardens of Babylon really exist?

Finally, follow Babylon's dramatic transition from a powerful kingdom to Persian rule under Cyrus the Great, and discover how its knowledge continued to influence the modern world thousands of years later.

This is a cinematic AI reconstruction of ancient Babylon, created from archaeological evidence, ancient records, historical accounts, and scholarly interpretations.
