I've compared both duffels myself in the store and went with the North Face Base Camp Voyager since its much better organized than the Patagonia Blackhole (which you erroneously keep calling "the MLC" even though that moniker soley refers to the green backpack shown). The North Face got 3 external pockets (I use them for shoes, charger and passport), two internal zip pockets and the main compartment also has a divider. The sizing of the North Face is highly misleading, the 42L bag is actually more of a 30L bag and the 62L still works as a carry on (I've measured it at 58 x 35 x 27cm and it can easily be squeezed in the sizer)

You have three bags here and it's actually hard to follow which bag is which when you're talking

Y’all gotta diversify. There’s a whole world of bags out there. Mystery Ranch Mission Duffle is worthy of your consideration.

which is the third bag that you throw in there?

That Patagonia isn't the MLC, that's the Black Hole Duffel

I'm surprised, actually not really, that you dont understand what a Liter is.   It is a measure of volume.  1 liter is 61 cubic inches.  y'all need to learn the metric system.
