Teachers are not police. I hope she wins every penny! She’s lucky she’s alive!

She clearly is traumatized.  It's appalling how they try to blame the victim...

FIRE PRINCIPAL ASAP!!!
This poor woman has suffered enough already.
Give her the dam payout ASAP.

Teachers in the Roseville School District near Sacramento have been beaten and the Union does nothing and the kids only get a few days off. Time for Teachers to press charges and file lawsuits because the kids are in charge and do anything they want .

It is so horrible the teachers got to evacuate because they don't feel safe 😢

She was shot and it looks like she is on trial… in the last days good will be called evil and evil will be called good…

Wonder what will hapend if we live in the world where parents have to teach their own kids? Are we getting there 😮

Hold parents accountable.  Period or are they waiting on their SNAP.

All my best to you, Abby♥  Stay strong.

I pray this lady gets all the money she is suing for in Jesus name 🙏 🙌 horrible situation..

I hope she gets every penny, and from the parents...if they are not in jail.

Several news sources have said that “multiple people tried to warn the vice principal that the boy possibly had a gun in his backpack that morning before he shot his teacher” Those teachers or whoever they are should be named in this lawsuit along with the vice principal because they did nothing more to stop it. Yes the vice principal absolutely deserves to be charged but so do they. They could have immediately went to the classroom, told his teacher, have one adult get the boy and one adult get the backpack and walk them both to the office together, call the parents in then call the police in and ask them to come in and do a search on the backpack or be a witness to the search of the backpack. Either way, the adults that knew about the gun prior to everything happening should be criminally charged and named in the lawsuit. Doesn’t sound like the vice principal was the only one with the knowledge of a possible gun on the property that morning.

I don't understand why the backpack and the student weren't removed from class. That's crazy.

Why did that kid shoot her? I really dont understand

They ignored all signs of this little boy

I am horrified what these teachers endure while trying to teach!!!!!!

If she wasn't abusive in any way.why are they trying to incriminate her she didn't shoot her self and yes the parents are as much to blame if not more than the student that shot the teacher.

The moment you hear a kid has a gun in their backpack, you confiscate the backpack...then have conversations.  With school shootings being common in the US, why would any adult not immediately take action over a potentially dangerous situation? If there's no weapon in the backpack, apologize and get back to reading, writing and arithmetic.

The parents should do time in jail and not be aloud to have any children

California school system has been a mess since the 90s when my kids were in school. The teachers tried but the problems really start from the department of education down to the district offices. Obviously our sewer system is in better shape. Airports have better security. We need a better process. Troubled students are exhibiting basically what is going on in their home life.
