Pretty sure this is the first Youtube comment I've ever left in 10 years...

I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for posting this. I have been struggling massively trying to wrap my brain around this medium for months now. I've been painting for my full time job for 15+ years and I'm coming at it from the same acrylic/oil/etc background and this is the first video I've seen that actually gave me hope after these weeks of being repetitively thwarted. This is extremely exactly what I needed right now. Your art is fantastic, the video short and sweet and right to all the needed delicious bits. After watching it a couple times I feel NEWFOUND HOPE and inspiration and omg thank you for helping shake my sanity into another art round.

Seeing how you lay stuff down I think has helped make something click, finally. I'm going to run out there and try again right now until I figure it out. Thank you for your reassuring confessions that this isn't just something one instinctually know hows to do perfectly in 10 min, even with years of other paint experience, and also for sharing the process to help tackle this baffling process.

Bro respect, this is like my third video of realistic portraits with spray paint, I've done a lot of other art but I never even learned can control, just got lazy and did paste ups like all the rest of the losers. Been freestyling skulls in my backyard and I decided I should really look to the pros for some tips, I was just bummed to see this grid concept, because of my imagination y'all were just getting in, then look at my surprise when you just went in there dude looking at your phone. Much love to you man and much respect, and I'll pay attention.

94 is great stuff. Even smells good 🤫

I love the blue and red lighting. I always wondered about the technique for proportions. Great video.

That doodle grid looks like absolute chaos to me as a dyslexic, it hurts my brain

The Doodle grid is actually genius. Thanks man, I've been wanting to branch into murals/grafitti. I've always done pencil, pen, watercolors, acrylic and digital but ever since I started drawing on my room walls I've been wanting to actually make an actual mural but I haven't got the slightest clue about spray paint. Maybe I'll start small. Amazing piece dude, hope you're doing well.

1:27 it went out of focus because the sun hit the lense at the perfect angle lol

Great work Man!
I hope one day pass by TX to check it out ✌️

Nice video , seem like a lot of realism is just in proper color selection and blends

I am muralist barely starting from Houston, I only have murals under my belt and now I am trying spray paint. I just found you and I love your work, is amazing brother and hope one day I will get to meet you. keep up that crazy amazing work.
