I came to a conclusion recently, that all modelers can sound great, if the user has good ear and can adapt the EQ/IR/Cab to the venue/headphones/mix/FRFR/real cab/microphone/monitors. Without ear and experience to adapt, they usually sound equally underwhelming. Because the circumstances constantly change. Comparison of the recordings without context of the band is one thing, playing through headphones and monitors is also different, playing live through a real cab 4CM another thing, playing through FRFR next thing... I really think that Helix was already good enough for experienced users and Stadium is really expensive.

Also, I dial my Quad in depending on what Guitar I am playing with, P90's, Humbuckers or Single coils . They both sounds great !!!

Nice vid. Thanks to both of you for sharing your thoughts 🙂

The quad atleast sounds way better on our end. I like neural dsp, i deff like the stadium layout. But no way in heck im dropping that much on one

Focus view will have customisable descriptions in an upcoming update. Also with the normal stadium coming out (without the expression pedal), that will put the form factor into a more similar range to the QC. But I agree, I think the QC has the best form factor out of any all in one unit imo

Nice video❤Feedback: Can you sit with both the guitars to the camera. it’s nice to see both guitars!❤

I use 4 scenes and 8 foot pedals on the Quad Cortex. To achieve that, I use a Live Logic MIDI control.😄

I think the all the big players in the modeling space sound great today and what it comes down to is which one fits your use case be it live performance, studio use etc. Some excel in different areas better than others so find the one that works best for you and start making some music.

Different guitar with different pickups will also change the outcome of the equation.  They all sound good and in a Mix no one could never tell.  With that said the QC in the intro sounds more full so that one is my preference but both tones in their own right sound fine.

15:50 Gigview got added to a switch just after this video was made :)

Line 6❤

Great video and some excellent playing! Tone wise it really is a wash; both units sounds superb. Can I ask if one feels easier/more forgiving to play? My current setup’s got me really working for it, especially legato lines. How are these? Cheers!

Modelers today sound incredible, but the best work flow I must say is both the QC and the Stadium.

I know cause I own both, and I use to own a Fractal FM9 MKII, and the Kemper MKII.

Fractal and Kemper are also great sounding units and feel just as good. However work flow wise, prefer QC and Stadium…

I'm a sucker for design aesthetic with any product. I like QC's overall apple-esque look, but you guys said it. Depends on your use case. Helix is really the only true dedicated all-in-one on the market. And that meant a lot to me. In terms of price, I paid over 3k for my QC rig just adding an exp, power supply, pedalboard, case, cabling, etc.

I also think it's worth mentioning that the dude using the Helix wasn''t using the new Agoura amp models. There is an Agoura twin, but not a matchless just yet.

When proxy comes out, it's really gonna open up the stadium.

While the pro of the qc is its size it was also its downfall to me. I made lots of mistakes, and that complete reliance on the touch screen to get to the grid made it a pain to use live.

You can indeed get to gig view by long pressing footswitch Tap tempo and down at the same time, you dont have to swipe up to get to it.  15:52 comment.

8:50 someone has been watching Jason Sadites helix videos.

What are y'all going out of ? Speakers, direct  or FRFR ?

Why aren't they playing out of the same guitar? Seems like a waste of time! Both have different sounding instruments, and clearly tonal preferences! I mean...

The QC seems to sound more like an amp, Stadium seems to lose the real sound at breakup, sounds like the processor just gives up.
I hope I’m wrong and it’s just my me, as I want a Stadium.. Anyone else hear that?
