"emotional capacity of a spreadsheet" got me 😭

I once heard someone say that Tabatha is the human version of a sphinx cat, and now, I can't unsee it. She is amazing.

I really love how blunt Tabitha is. Like she says what we are all thinking. Like yes we are all in agreement that Brian is a f*ck wit

The show in Italy's been renamed "Tabatha Scissorhands" and frankly I think it's such a great name for a hairstylist show!

My dad ran a mortgage company and over time turned into this man. When Brian said “I don’t talk/speak to my staff” then “it can’t possibly be me!” that is the problem, i cringed. My dad said “the past is the past, i don’t second guess myself,” as in, when he hurts someone, he won’t think about it, care about it, or grow as a person whatsoever. I’ve been sick for almost 2 decades and he doesn’t care. He thinks I’m just lazy. Brian…. Seeing him gave me a visceral reaction.

She's back girlies!!! In all seriousness, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this becomes a series ❤

"She's got almost like a drag queen attitude" - Tabatha's parents actually owned clubs where drag queens performed, and she was there all the time as a child and grew up surrounded by drag queens

You know Brian was most likely the receptionist’s regular at the club, and he said he could get her a day job😂😂🤭

An Australian Sphinx Cat lesbian calling a greedy stockbroker a dickhead to his face and labelling him a f*ckwit is peak reality tv. Love it, girl!

Tabatha calling him a fuck wit absolutely SENT me

Genuinely love that they allowed an "unsuccessful" takeover to air. I feel like so many makeover/takeover shows only air/push the successful ones, so this definitely makes the entire series feel more real.

She has to teach that man basic empathy. It really is true that some CEOs are sociopaths.

I'm convinced this man went on the show purely to get the makeover and supply restock so that he can make the job look more inciting and bring in more money whilst doing nothing for his employees. He had no intentions of running this business any other way :(

“the emotional capacity of a spreadsheet” is definitely entering my lexicon

@StopoveranalyzingAnne 1 year ago

This is a prime example of someone trying to milk all the money he can from a business he cares nothing about. Private equity people are getting into businesses even more these days. And they run the businesses (sometimes whole chains) into the ground. It was clear that this guy wasn’t going to step up and improve the salon. I’m glad all the stylists took off and got better jobs.

@janessajayechampagne 1 year ago

I googled the salon, and no surprise, it closed! The episode aired on Feb 28, 2012, and the article saying that the salon was closed was originally posted March 14, 2013. I used to love that show, but there were quite a few where the salon owner just refused to grow or change.

Tabitha mentions in another episode that she wears black because the client should be the star of the show ❤❤

The way Tabatha talks to that man is admirable, and I'm really happy that as I get older I myself get more comfortable trying to take men like this down a peg.
