Che meraviglia questi filmati

I went to Indemini (from Zurich) in 1984 or 1985, in April and it was still chilly. There were some younger people though as people had started buying the old houses. It is a very striking place. To be honest, I thought that if I fall in the wrong place in the street, there is a chance that I roll all the way down to Italy. There was a little cafe/restaurant and the people were very welcoming and lovely. I spoke my best Italian. Unfortunately, my grammar is shockingly bad, so I am not attempting to write in Italian. I remember there was a lady who cme to the cafe in the evening. She was in her 60s I think, and living with her goats, higher up. We came and left with the Postauto, and slept in the school which also kind or worked as a hotel...and that was on the slope going down to Italy.
I wonder what it looks like now. It is a beautiful, beautiful and special place, but a bit tough on somebody who, like me, does not have a head for heights.

Ma io vi amo...
