I'm South African! I'm studying for my Master's in Library Science. Your videos have been huge help for most of my time at university! I've also just started as an intern at a publishing company that lets us work form home and there's a lot of office work to get through. Your vids have been great for that as well! I'm terrible with time-management so your vids really help to split my work into bite-sized chunks which I then complete one at a time. You do great work and are helping a lot of people (myself included!) Thank you for all your hard work <3

trying the 25/5 for the first time. I am not actually studying, I am working. I work from home, and boy oh boy my adhd is crazy sometimes. I recently came across this pomodoro stuff and I can actually focus, sometimes, for a little bit, a tiny amount of time, but nontheless, it all adds up. and eventually I am able to cross off one of my tasks. Does anyone ever feel like they're writing dear diary, as they write comments? I mean, I know I read comments sometimes, but my comments? oh my gosh my comments must be so boring to the sane person. I digress so fast. Back to my point, I am trying the 25/5 for the first time. Lets see how it goes. I just fell like, there must be something for me to do before I can start my task....

I just want to say thank you for doing these videos. I have been using your videos to help me study since I started my school program in August of this year. A lot has been going on in my life, as everone also has their own situations and struggles. These pomodoro session videos allow me to focus on my schoolwork in the midst of my life happenings. I have tried other users on youtube that essentially do the same pomodoro sessions. However, yours stands out because you have the time blocks in the overview of the video to allow for better navigation, which most other users lack. I also like the dings when a session is about to start or end. Other youtubers videos don't have as abrupt of a transition and I found myself working through the breaks, not knowing that the session ended.
For the first session, I will be working on my ethics essay.

This video has really helped me not procrastinate. Typically too, when I get a text message I’m so quick to pause or get distracted. With the timers I’m able to wait until break to respond and remain responsible and attentive. I found myself wishing the study session were a little longer because I was in the groove lol.

i am working on writing my resume as i am starting to search for a new job. i absolutely hate it and it was a real struggle for me to get myself started with it and even sit on my computer, but thanks to this playlist and the encouraging sentences- i made it. took me one meltdown, a lot of self talking, and almost two hours but hey- i did it! and i am so proud of myself!!! heck yeah! i feel so good and relifed now that i have finally done it. ugh. now I'm off to treat myself something nice. done for the day. you guys make sure to do something nice for yourself when you're done. you deserve it.
