Every Tune on this album is fire...!

In my head I can hear a voice so sweet and clear -- It's JAMES DEWAR!

Love Robin Trower. This track is a pure vibration, and either you can just flow with it or you can't.😍

After 50 years, STILL sounds great! One of my TOP 5 albums all time.

Try Fly Low....it's from Victims of the Fury!

1970's head music.  Awesome!!!

I love when Trower gets in this mode.  He's king of the soulful slow groove.
If you want more like this, you can't do better than Trower's "Daydream", from the Twice Removed From Yesterday album.  There are superb live versions too, including a video from 1975.

I cam almost feel the acid (or LSCrazy) swirling in my brain back in the day. Quadrophonic sound, Klipsch speakers, lying in the floor with the door open, watching the lightning...on acid! I've changed through the years, but this is still slammin!

The album might say "Robin Trower" but James Dewar is the star of this song.  If life is a dream, this song is a soft mattress.

James Dewar 🙏

Robin Trower was (is?) a blues master. Tasteful, always sexy sounds floating out through his fingers. And yet another great reaction!!!

Probably my favorite song on this album , which is saying a lot  . Love the whole album , but there is something about the pace of this particular track . The depth , and edge of the vocals touches  a spot in my soul .

Dewar's a smooth, smokey, tone, like the whiskey with the same name. In a similar vein, Jimi- "May This Be Love", Mahogany Rush (Frank Marino),- "It's Begun To Rain". So many more that I'm drawing a blank. Anyway Robin is seriously my hero, he is still touring in his eighties and better than ever! 🎸🔥.✌&❤.

Very few accolades left to describe the quality of music Robin Trower put out over the last 50 plus years.

I recommend "Gary Moore - Still Got The Blues", slow cold guitar, with elements of psychedelia and blues, when you just go on a journey.

You want more songs with this feel? I literally have an entire playlist of these. LOL I'm not sure what all you've listened to, but try:
ZZ Top - A Fool For Your Stockings
Robert Plant - Big Log
Robin Trower - Daydream (from his Twice Removed from Yesterday album)
Joe Bonamassa - Drive
ZZ Top - I Need You Tonight
Daniel Castro - I'll Play The Blues For You
Yes - Shoot High, Aim Low
Atlanta Rhythm Section - So Into You

You will LOVE it

If you're in the market for some slow blues, this guy's got some quality merchandise to sell you!

Robin has a chill blues song, See My Life. I think you'll like it, JP.

This album is very special and very great. I haven't heard it in decades, but these haunting compelling tunes sound like yesterday, this one no exception. You should try some tracks from The Endless River by Pink Floyd. It's a very different vibe, but your call for laid back psychedelic guitar music brought this to mind. It's made from old Division Bell era rambles recorded at Gilmour's studio with Wright and Mason, posthumously (for Wright) reworked into beautiful ambient space rock reminiscent of Shine On You Crazy Diamond, mostly absent of vocals and the high energy segments - with added contributions from the likes of Phil Manzanera, Guy Pratt, and Bob Ezrin, among others. The disk got unfairly lukewarm reviews, but I think it delivers in full form and is just wonderful for what it is, and I think you'd love it in a mood like this. It was the last album released as Pink Floyd, and a fitting epilogue. I can't even separate track names in this wash of sound, except for the satisfying closer with Gilmour vocals, Louder Than Words, but you can't really go wrong with anything here - or just do the whole journey on a Saturday.
