OH SHIT THATS MY CHART

@e._m_.d9k 1 year ago

crazy how almost all of these contoversies can be avoided by not going to twitter or reddit

Man I really miss the rarity sorting, I was so used to where all my skins were and then I logged on one day and they were all scattered everywhere

@deivy1916 1 year ago

quite a small controversy, but there's also people complaining about survey skins not looking the same in their final release as well

17:07 I think the age restriction was dumb. The game is 13+, 10 year olds aren’t even supposed to be playing

One of the devs who worked on the cybertruck said on Twitter that no one wanted to work on that collab and that they made it pay to lose on purpose in Fortnite and Rocket League lmao

@HDdeadchannel 1 year ago

Hey by the way! Not so fun fact: The creator of the Harmony Lee skin is the same guy who made that controversial Block map LMAO

5:34 “often times” is objectively incorrect as of the release of the icon series, and actually dates all the way to marshmello, fortnite will formally ask, brain storm with, and share proceedings with any personnel that are involved in a collaboration, anything I.P. related is considered a collaboration and involves a split profit, with things like icon emotes, it’s hard, since there is a creator of the dance who has the ability to tell epic not to release it it (but they normally don’t) and the owner of the song (who may also have made the dance), the main reason why they do this is to avoid further lawsuits even though they won the lawsuit in 2018

31:22 The default dance actually had 4 tracks, one for every hero class from stw. The Ninja and Solider default dance themes had the music we have today; The outlander theme was the track this entry mentions; And there's a constructor theme that was scrapped EVEN EARLIER in development that was removed sometime in the online tests (2016 - 2017 ish). Just wanted to mention, you can find them if u look them up.

It's funny to see how most of these controversies are literally just made by small features that'll be gone by next season or even just the next hour.

You could see a blue pistol making 23 dmg instead of 22 and people would still complain about it.

Got to love how when Epic did their layoffs a few years back, nearly everyone that was laid off was a dev that had been working on the game since it s early days and/or didn't exactly support the metaverse direction the game was taking

To this day I'll die on the hill that Icy Five was stream sniping and cried when he got caught.

the way i paused after hearing the slightest tune of a Super Paper Mario soundtrack.

As someone who’s played every single season of Fortnite ever, chapter 5 season 3 was one of my favourites. The gap between casual and sweaty players was closed meaning everyone could have fun and get involved. Also as a car guy I absolutely loved the V8 car theme.
