Amid the party, the music and the colourful decorations of Huasca de Ocampo (State of Hidalgo), the smiles of Elhousine Elazzaoui (Morocco – NNormal) and Lauren Gregory (USA – Nike) crossed the finish line to the sound of rancheras, rounding off a festive weekend in which Mexico embraced the Golden Trail World Series (GTWS) at Tepec Trail. The sixth stop of the 2025 season brought magic, warmth and the hospitality of the Mexican people, an experience the athletes will hardly forget.

Such a technical terrain I would be slipping and sliding wrecking my knees and ankles within minutes, good camera work.

Why is it taking so long for content/coverage to be produced this year? Is this just because of the new licence agreements or other challenges? For the past 3 years I've had so much joy watching the golden Trail Series live or at worst the next morning but this year it's been impossible as results are always spoiled via social media updates with 'live coverage' or highlights only coming our days or weeks later. As a big fan of format in the previous years this years coverage has had all the joy and excitement removed which is a real shame.

So the non elite runners, the ones who really pay for you to fill the mountain with garbage, noise and giant electronic screens, don't even deserve a second in the video? Salomon is promoting the worse activities in trail running and apparently people is clapping. Do Salomon love nature or selling for those who like to kill nature without consciousness? I used to like Huasca as it was originally with Marcos Ferro, now, it was just like being and extra in the Salomon Hunger Games show.
