Hey, I'm actually one of the employees who was working around the area while you were recording this! Figured I'd let you know what was going on with the timing of stuff and the carts and whatever - some of the carts and such (like the wood palette of boxes) were leftover from when we took down the school stuff quite a while ago (and I still don't quite understand why it took them so long to get rid of them, although they have been dealt with for a while now - I assume it has something to do with how short staffed the team responsible for setting up sections of the store like that was at the time), but when you came to look around at the Halloween stuff we were actually getting ready to replace it. The reason a lot of the shelves and stuff were empty (and we were actually putting more of each product that we had on the shelves than we normally would) was because we were basically trying to put out as much old stock as we could so that it would (hopefully) sell before switching everything to Christmas (our Christmas section is already set up right now!). We had a lot more out there than when you came by earlier in the month. Normally the shelves don't look nearly as bare, especially in the seasonal section. I don't think it was long after this was recorded that things started going on clearance, if I recall correctly.
