I always suspected Haim Saban and Shuki Levi did the same thing. Saban didn't actually produce scores, he just did the business and sales side of it, while Levi actually did the music. It's not uncommon as an arrangement, and lying about it is probably also common. Another example outside of music is Jobs and Wozniak.

So I saw that video today on my Instagram feed and I don’t follow him. I always pass his videos but I happen to be away from my phone but listening on my speaker. I hear his voice and ran to skip the video but I heard him say this and I started laughing my ass off. I automatically knew exactly what was happening. Then I also thought about you lol. Funny how I haven’t seen any videos by this person in soooooooo long but today it randomly shows on my Instagram. Then you talk about it in this video. So true, it's become common place in mainstream, someone will submit a track of full production and it will make it's way to the guys in direct contact with the artist and somehow it's those guys sitting next to the artist that gets the main credit, but even then the original producer will often get credited, this is why we see so many names of producers credits these day but Ski takes it to the next level and seems to strike a deal from the off set in which he's the only one credited. He's trying to keep the fantasy alive as his whole credibility resides in his legacy of the CMT era, and of cause at this point we all now know he never made the beats.
