This one tool is about to change everything at my sawmill…
Today was a full day at the sawmill.
We started out unloading a load of pine logs, then loaded up the bobcat and headed out to meet a friend to cut and haul some poplar logs. After getting everything loaded up and back to the sawmill, we got things set back up after doing a big cleanup over the weekend.
But that’s not even the biggest part of today…
A brand new machine showed up that’s going to completely change the way we run the sawmill. This thing is going to help us process lumber faster, reduce waste, and get more value out of every log.
We unload it, get it set up, and finally reveal it at the sawmill — then put it to the test on fresh-cut boards to see how it performs.

Have you considered setting up a chainsaw station for cutting down the scraps into firewood? Just takes getting them off the ground and some 4-6' stakes spaced to the firewood length.
