Conrad mention that AEW is for the wrestling fans and WWE for the investors which pissed off a lot of people on social media cause it's true

Gotta admit Roman ran LA Knight down bad when he said “WE” got plans for you…another egg in the omelette…THAT WAS A BURIAL SPOILER

FCW Reigns showed exactly what he could do promo wise. It was similar to how there was some early Rock in the Flex Kavana character before they brought him up was Blue Chipper Rocky Maivia. Vince’s mistake was trying to push Reigns in the same manner as Rock/Cena, where comedy is apart of a lot of their promos, when that wasn’t at all Reigns’ natural personality. The pandemic aided him greatly to be the smooth shit talker he is the today. Having no crowds to play off of in the Thunderdome helped him immensely.

The issue I have is that this whole " select the next guy system" wasn't always the thing the way it is now.
The way it is now Vince sees a person that he likes or Triple H sees a person that he likes and they say we're going to push this guy to the Moon. We're going to strap the rocket on them.
Whereas before the person actually built momentum with a character that was also in tune with the audience as well as play the character that they're given well.
This is the part that's missing to me and this is why this conversation will always be a conversation now.

You didn't just put the rocket on Stone Cold or the rocket on the rock, Triple H, Cena, Batista, orton etc.

These guys built that momentum first and then you saw that they were so over with the crowd. It's time to push them to the next level. So that's when you strap the rocket on them and they go from there and become the main event face of the company person that you want them to be.

When you do it inorganically like the way that it is now it's forever tainted. And that's why you have these conversations about how Roman is the most privileged protected guy on the planet

Conrad is right about Roman. I like the shield version of Roman and the Tribal chief version with Paul Hayman.

L.A Knight call him a plant, during a recent promo.

Roman Reigns = God Tier Plot Armor

That's crazy how we both stopped watching for around a decade. I had stopped around 2009-2010, and came back when the Bloodline was hot during the Thunderdome Covid era. The Tribal Chief stuff was dope around that time, but they went and decided not to change ANYTHING about him for 6 years. I give Roman props for his promo skills and persevering through leukemia, but I agree that he's 100% an industry plant.

Conrad is telling the truth. I was there for those 7 years when Roman was booed out of the building because he was getting those “overrated”, “you can’t wrestle” chants. I was in some of those arenas when Roman was getting “go away” heat. I was in the crowd when Roman Reigns fought Jinder Mahal at Money In The Bank 2018 in Chicago. We hijacked that match. We threw numerous beach balls. We did the crown wave. We chanted so many things to let WWE know that we didn’t want this guy but it didn’t work. WWE even edited out certain chants to manipulate how we came across on tv towards Roman. Conrad is absolutely right. That man was shoved down our throats for years. Roman didn’t get over organically.

Roman is DEFINITELY NOT TOP 10

The opposite of how they pushed Roman is Tez...hands down

And yeah...the Bloodline is getting whupped.

Out here like Taye Diggs in Best Man after Lance got with him
"I got my azz WHUPPED"😂😂😂

Roman is boring 🤷🏽‍♂️

@RandomBlackGamer 3 days ago

Roman is just riding the wave of what Vince & Paul Haymen built for him. He's not a larger than life superstar like his cousin. The Rock makes him look like an NPC anytime they're in the ring together.
