Prayer in Boldness and Disobedience

You, my Savior, who, out of obedience, obeyed Your Mother, the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, and Joseph, the guardian of Her virginity, for thirty years in Nazareth, and upon entering upon Your great ministry, obeyed Your Father's will even unto death, even death on the cross, grant that I, following Your example, will obey in all things the authorities You have appointed over me and fulfill all that You have commanded in the Law and the Gospel, so that my whole life will be one continuous obedience, making me a worthy partaker of Your grace in this present life and Your glory in the life to come.
