My husband and I, along with our dog Ronpaku, recently visited "Oedo Onsen Monogatari Wanwan Resort Nishi-Izu," which reopened in March 2026 as a dog-friendly resort.

It's a wonderful place to enjoy a full day with your beloved dog, offering a dog run overlooking the ocean, a free lounge where you can enjoy alcoholic beverages, and a buffet.

We enjoyed the open-air bath where we could feel the sound of the waves up close, the calm ocean view from our room, and the refreshing sea breeze at Marine Beach.

It was a relaxing trip for my husband, our dog, and myself, where our minds and bodies were healed by the rich nature unique to Nishi-Izu and the luxurious hot springs.

We visited in May, a wonderful time of year, and the experience of sleeping with our family while listening to the sound of the waves with the windows of our room open was exceptional 🌊
